Doodstream is a video-hosting service that lets you upload your videos onto their site and lets you embed them to your website or just share direct links, you earn money from the views your video generates. The main point of this host is that they ignore copyright and let you host adult videos without taking them down. This is very attractive to many adult webmasters as video streaming is really expensive if you have to do it yourself, whilst doodstream will do it for free and even pay you for views.
The website has been facing massive legal issues, you can read more about that on TorrentFreak, the latest article describing on how even at the face of all these legal issues, they are still operating and not cooperating with the Indian courts.

Realistic CPM?
There is very little reason to talk about what is the realistic CPM as any proper adult webmaster would not run doodstreams ads, they would instead opt to pay for the premium bandwidth, doodstream even offers built in ads that a single popup can offset the price of the premium bandwidth and then some.
The amount of ads doodstream serves is insane and the realistic cpm will be between 1$ and 2$, you can easily achieve upto 10$ CPM for the number of ads they serve, it’s like 6-10 popups before the video starts playing and every time you pause you get another, in-page push, subscription push, if you’re on the direct page there’s even banners!
Running their ads is not realistic, at 2$ per TB of bandwidth, it makes doodstream a really cheap host, you’ll also want the premium account so your videos don’t get deleted.
Another problem with doodstream – they may take forever to payout. Don’t put yourself in a position where you would have to rely on them paying you, instead pick a few ad networks like PopAds and run their ads, you’ll make a similar amount of money with one tenth the ads!
Now let’s talk about their referral system, you may noticed that we listed that it’s 5% and you probably read on their site that it’s 10% + 30% of all premium purchases. That is not correct, there is no affiliate commisions for premium purchases and the real rate is 5%.
How do we know this? Well, we have currently 42 referrals, many of which are adult webmasters we are friends with! We have asked how are their earnings going and heck, we can even see that they have purchased the premium account and premium bandwidth (their player doesn’t show ads using premium bandwidth). It shows a little star next to their name in the list of referrals!
Yet referral income only comes from those referrals who are running doodstreams ads! And it’s a mere 5% bonus of what they earn.

Yes, it’s really shady… Now you may be wondering, have I ever talked to support about it? Let’s get into it in the next paragraph…
Service experience
Technical problems
How well has doodstream treated us? We have been a loyal customer for well over two years now!
For the most part, fine. There have been no issues until they got sued, then nothing but problems started happening and I cannot stress this enough… There is no support. None, it doesn’t exist, it never existed.
Yep, sometimes a year ago they would reply by asking some questions, asking deeper into the issue, but no answers and no resolutions. We just adjusted to live with the problem.
Now, their service up until September 2024 was pretty good, next to no downtime, no DMCA takedowns, all videos were working fine! Custom ads were working perfectly, the premium bandwidth didn’t look rigged and ran profitably, all was well! Until the lawsuit picked up and many features started to get stripped from the system, like the “video finder system”. Their video database was basically public to most premium users, that means if someone uploaded a video, you could search for it and copy it to your library. Their technology was very impressive, instead of uploading duplicate videos, they just “replicated” a copy to your account, this was done to save bandwidth when users were uploading to their site and most of all save storage. This website was brilliant!
Now, the URL’s keep changing and every few months all videos break, sometimes they stop working for mobile devices but are okay on desktop, sometimes the opposite. Back in February there was a two week downtime with no announcements, nothing… They just died. This made us jump ship to other networks.
The thumbnail URLs keep breaking, sometimes their ffmpeg breaks and stops generating it entirely.
Honestly, the once greatest cyber DMCA-Ignored filehost is long gone, now it’s a dying platform that’s barely functioning and will eventually be gutted by lawsuits as the lawyers already got the owners. It’s in India, so perhaps no one will care about the piracy and copyright infringements…
Conclusion
Do not use this videohost
It’s quite a shame that such an amazing idea is going to die, doodstream was great back in 2023 and even before, it was way ahead of any video host, hell it still kinda is! You could even earn a decent penny through their advertising system if your budget was very low, but today our recommendation is to avoid it. If you base your entire library off of doodstream, there is a very high chance that this host has absolutely no future.
Avoid, use alternatives.
